Origin
Located in the heart of the Douro Superior, in the emblematic Vilariça Valley, with a very particular micro-climate that over the centuries has made this place the 'granary' of Trás-os-Montes, Quinta da Terrincha has an enormous agricultural past. It was here that one of the most famous cheeses in Portugal was born - Queijo Terrincho, named after the Quinta, and today is a true icon of our region.
The beginning of our own wine production dates back to 1868, with the construction of the winery, which still exists and can be visited today. Quinta wine produced from grapes grown on hillside vines at an average altitude of 400m, in soils of the upper douro.

Tasting Notes
White wine of pale yellow colour, intense and with great aromatic complexity, with very fresh notes of exotic fruits and citrus, balanced by notes of toast of the stage in French and American barrels. In the mouth it has an involving and soft texture, with a good balance due to its freshness with some unctuosity, with an ample and long finish. A gastronomical wine, to accompany fish dishes, such as oven-roasted codfish, soft sheep's cheese or white meats.
