Quinta da Levandeira do Roncão is located in Vilarinho de Cota, Alijó municipality, in the heart of Douro Demarcated Region, sub-region Cima Corgo. With a vineyard of 45ha , DR Ports are produced with high quality grapes, carefully selected from Quinta da Levandeira vineyard, aged and bottled in our cellars.

This wine is produced in the heart of the Douro region, namely at Quinta da Levandeira do Roncão in the heart of the Douro wine region.

The wine we present here results from a vitivinicola production in a 250,000 ha Douro property, 50,000 ha of which with vine plantation, as we know, Douro is the oldest demarcated region in the world, in addition to being the birthplace of oldest and most prestigious wine produced in Portugal, Port Wine (if you also want to taste Port Wine, click here). In the heart of the Douro, the property is located in Vilarinho de Cotas, municipality of Alijó, 9 km from Pinhão.

It is further reported that in addition to having about 40 ha of vines and an enviable stock of old Port wines, on this same property since 2001, several other excellent wines are produced.

More recently and after a vast and profound restructuring of the vineyard and winery, completed in 2005, the first Douro wines and Port wines started to be sold in 2006 under the DR and Quinta da Levandeira do Roncão brand.

The production of high quality wines results from a careful selection of grapes exclusively from Quinta da Levandeira and the perfect combination of the most innovative winemaking techniques and traditional Douro techniques.

Tasting Notes: White wine with citric aromas and hints of tropical fruit. In the mouth it presents a good texture, revealing very fresh and intense flavours.

Grapes/varietes: Malvasia Fina , Rabigato, Viosinho & Cerceal.

Harmonization: Fish dishes, pasta, salads, poultry, seafood, or simply being with the beach, pool, etc.

Serving temperature is: 7/10.ºC
