This Quinta de Linhares Reserva Avesso white wine 2014 is produced in the Vinho Verde Region, a unique region where it is located on the property that gives its name to the Wine itself.

Quinta de Linhares is located in the demarcated region of Vinhos Verdes, sub-region of Sousa, in the municipality of Penafiel. There are between 12 and 14 ha, where “green” white wines are produced under the Quinta de Linhares brand.

The Quinta de Linhares excellent Green Wines are produced with grapes exclusively from the property itself, with the dominant varieties being Loureiro, Avesso, Azal and Arinto, all typical of the Vinho Verde region and typical of the region.

The White Wine Quinta de Linhares Reserva Avesso 2014 is a mono-vine and a Reserve Wine, in this case only with 100% of the AVESSO grape variety, which has some other popular names such as Borral, Bornal, Bornão or Borraçal Branco.

It is worth noting the fact that this wine is subject to an 18-month aging in French and American oak barrels.
