VINHOS VERDES Wine Region
Demarcated region of Vinhos Verdes in Minho, Northern Portugal.
This Quinta de Linhares Avesso 2017 White Wine is produced in the Vinho Verde Region, a unique region where the property that gives the name to the Wine is located.
Quinta de Linhares is located in the demarcated region of Vinhos Verdes, sub-region of Sousa, in the municipality of Penafiel.
There are 12 ha, where “green” white wines are produced under the Quinta de Linhares brand.
The Vinhos Verdes of excellence, produced with grapes exclusively from the property, with the dominant grape varieties being Loureiro, Avesso, Azal and Arinto, all typical of the Vinho Verde region and typical of the region.
The White Wine Quinta de Linhares Avesso 2017 is a single vine, in this case only with 100% of the AVESSO variety. It has some other popular denominations like Borral, Bornal, Bornão or Borraçal branco.
The Avesso grape variety is grown in the Vinho Verde region, however its planting is concentrated close to the Douro region, in the Baião sub-region, in the municipalities of Baião, Resende and Cinfães.
Tasting Note: When you put Quinta de Linhares Avesso 2017 White Wine in the glass, you will be facing an intense, full-bodied wine, very correct and pleasant in the mouth, with aromas of pear and plum.

Harmonization: We can serve Quinta de Linhares Avesso White Wine to receive some friends, by the beach, by the pool or to accompany a well seasoned crayfish soup, fish, seafood or some sandwiches.
Serve at a temperature of: Between 6 to 9ºC.
