Checkmate White Wine 2016

Philosophy: A wine made from ARINTO grapes expressing the typical profile of this grape variety in Lisbon’s terroirs.

Harvest: Extremely dry year with an annual rainfall well below average, but with grapes of high quality and concentration.

Viniculture: Environmentally sustainable farming practices in vineyards older than 20 years, eastern oriented in basaltic soils with good drainage.

Winemaking: Fermentation in barrels and underground concrete tanks with batonnage. Bottled in February and will develop well in the bottle.

Better enjoyed: 2016-2025.
