This Pontas Soltas Blanc de Noir Sparkling Wine Grande Reserva Douro 2016 is produced at Quinta da Barca, vinified from a careful choice of grapes from the variety – Tinta Francisca. Made with total destemming and little crushing, it went straight to the pneumatic press where we only collect the tear generated by the weight of the accumulated grapes, with the aim of removing as little color as possible. Decanted and cleaned 24 hours later, it then fermented at a temperature of approximately 13 to 14 ° for 25 days (1st fermentation). Stabilized and bottled for second fermentation in bottle for about 36 months. The “dégorgement” was carried out in August 2020 and remained in stage until today.

Tasting Notes: This Pontas Soltas Blanc de Noir Sparkling Wine Grande Reserva Douro 2016 is a bright yellow wine. Elegant in the aroma, marked by notes of quince jam, a direct reflection of the variety used. Fine and persistent bubble, velvety and creamy with a very interesting mousse. Long finish marked by great acidity.
