REGIONAL WINES LISBON
Here we have another wine from Lisbon.
The company founded by Abel Pereira da Fonseca in 1926 to manage the properties he has owned in the Bombarral region since the beginning of the century and which still belong to the same family, after four generations, is the result of much history.
Enjoy through a Portuguese wine from a family tradition of more than a century.
This SÔTTAL Frisante Rosé Wine 750ml, is what we can “classify” as a wine suitable for toasting a friend, for a party, for a summer day or opening after singing Happy Birthday and eating the cake. It is a Regional Wine Lisbon, Type Rosé, original of an Atlantic climate, with the Castles Castelão (40%), Aragonez (40%) and Touriga Nacional (20%), whose vinification results from grapes harvested manually to preserve their characteristics, and after being slightly pressed, they are submitted to a skin maceration (for 10 hours) at 18ºC. Then it is fermented with an open spout with controlled temperature around 16º C, for 20 days, being bottled five months after an aging in stainless steel vats.
Tasting Note: We observed that this Rosé Frisante SÔTTAL 750ml wine has a beautiful bright pink color, a very fresh and elegant aroma on the nose, predominantly red fruit aromas, with emphasis on strawberry and raspberry, already in the mouth we feel it is a Fruity wine, fresh and with some body, endowed with a fruity and soft finish, with a slight effervescence that conveys elegance. .
Grapes/varieties: Castles Castelão (40%), Aragonez (40%) and Touriga Nacional.
Harmonization: The recommendation of our team for this Rosé Frisante SÔTTAL 750ml is to serve it as an excellent aperitif but also to accompany a meal with pâtés, fish roasts, poultry and white meats.
The serving temperature is: Serve between 8º and -10º to be consumed within 3 years or immediately.
Responsible for oenology: Miguel Móteo, Eng.
