In a typical locality in the municipality of Portalegre in the Alentejo Region, close to Spain, in a family-run agritourism and wine tourism property in Alentejo, it is possible to extract very particular Quality Wines, the result of grapes and vineyards spread over approximately 30 hectares of land With schist, the Casa da Urra vineyards include red grape varieties, such as Aragonez, Alicante Bouchet, Sirah, Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro – very popular Portuguese varieties that allow a great margin of progression, now and in the future. This expectation is all the more justifiable as we know that, well tempered by the cool breezes blowing from the neighboring mountains, the entire vineyard benefits from a very particular microclimate, which allows it to produce some of the best grapes in the Alentejo.
