This Quinta da Terrincha Red 2018 is a Quinta wine, produced from grapes from vineyards at an elevation between 190 and 430 m, from schist soils of the Douro Superior. Hand-picked grapes into small 40L boxes. Reception at the winery with choice, total destemming and immediate crushing. Fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24°C, followed by aging in French oak barrels for 12 months, in a cellar with temperature and humidity control.

Tasting Notes: This Quinta da Terrincha Red 2018 is an intense ruby colored wine. Great aromatic purity with fresh notes of ripe black fruits and spices. In the mouth it has an enveloping and smooth texture, in which the ripening of the grapes was balanced by the freshness of a balanced natural acidity. Aging in French barrels gave harmony and complexity to this ample wine with a long finish.
