To learn more about Quinta do Sobral click here, now about this Wine, Quinta do Sobral Touriga Nacional Red Wine 2020 it resulted from a harvest that took place at the end of September of that year. The grapes were harvested manually into small 18kg boxes. The grapes were de-stemmed into stainless steel mills, where they macerated for 24 hours at low temperature before starting alcoholic fermentation, with indigenous yeasts and controlled temperature. Alcoholic fermentation lasted 15 days, with mechanical treading for good extraction of color and aromas. After fermentation, it was transferred to new 225L French oak barrels, where it remained for 9 months until malolactic fermentation was completed here..

Tasting Note: After tasting Quinta do Sobral Touriga Nacional Red Wine 2020, we first register some notes of berries, spices and floral notes typical of the variety, then in the mouth, the Wine appears engaging with good acidity and a very elegant mineral background.. Taste!

Grapes/varietes:   Touriga nacional 100%.

Harmonization: Our suggestion for harmonizing Quinta do Sobral Touriga Nacional Red Wine 2020 is what our experience was, for example blue cheese such as Roquefort, Red meat, lamb with apricots and chicken with orange, Chocolate and desserts with chocolates as a base or Nut-based desserts. It is an exceptionally very good wine, highly recommended!.

Final note: All Quinta do Sobral wines are made with indigenous yeasts, without chemical or mechanical intervention. Therefore, it is subject to deposits and/or formation of crystals, as it is a natural product.
