Quinta da Cismeira Grande Reserva Red Wine 2019comes from a family company with a history linked to viticulture that goes back more than a century. In the year in which the first vines planted in Quinta da Cismeira celebrate 20 years, the dream came true and it was decided to launch the first wine of “Quinta”. An atypical year, but with healthy grapes and in a perfect state of maturation. Coming from the two best plots of Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional in equal proportions, this wine has a perfect balance of freshness, elegance and concentration. An inspiring story resulted in a great Douro blend.

Tasting Notes:Quinta da Cismeira Grande Reserva Red Wine 2019, is a violet colored wine, on the nose it shows great intensity and aromatic concentration, notes of black fruits, cistus, cocoa and light notes of toast and vanilla. In the mouth it is elegant and dense, with firm and mature tannins, making the finish long, persistent and pleasant.

Grapes / grape varieties: Touriga nacional and Touriga Franca.

Harmonization: Our suggestion for pairing and consuming the Quinta da Cismeira Grande Reserva Red Wine 2019 is to serve it in a meal with oven-roasted meat dishes and stewed game, and soft cheeses mole, or simply drink in moderation as an excellent company.

Nota final:  The Quinta da Cismeira Grande Reserva Red Wine 2019 can be consumed immediately or it can be stored for 10 to 15 years, if stored in good conditions in a horizontal position. For better tasting, it should be decanted 2 to 3 hours before and served between 16°C - 18°C.
