Why Portuguese Wines?
Portugal is in fact a very exciting country for its climate, for its nine centuries of history, for its cultural and gastronomic heritage, beaches, people, but also for its wines.
We know that in the world there are many consumers and wine lovers who do not associate Portugal with a country that produces Table Wines, despite the notoriety of Port Wine, Madeira Wine, and maybe even because of the international notoriety of these two types of Wine very special and original, which obviously are also a source of pride.
In fact, one of the founders of Made in Portucale when he was out of Portugal for professional reasons found this more than once, going to a hotel or restaurant and when asking for the wine list and talking to the professionals, he found that for them Portugal did not have Table wine, it was just Port and / or Madeira.
Perhaps one of the reasons for the Made in Portucale project to exist is embodied in these experiences of its founders, but not only, for this very reason, this article aims to share our vision of Portuguese Wine consecrated by countless critics and experts on the subject.

Portugal in the wine world represents perhaps one of the richest collections of varieties of grape varieties in the world. Portuguese wines are presented with a greater variety of grape varieties than in French wines, than Spanish wines and almost as many as the Italians.
Why Portuguese Wines?
We are convinced that it is easy to become a fan of Portuguese Wines, and what is most interesting and even fascinating about Portuguese Wines is the fact that they are so different and original.
We believe that we are heirs of a manifest treasure of grapes, given the quantity, originality and diversity of grape varieties that exist in Portugal.
Despite our small territorial dimension, our fourteen (14) wine regions are very different from each other, each offering a unique and unique terroir, providing different varieties of grapes, which naturally will result in many different wines from disparate regions.
When we propose to dare to taste our flavors, it is a result of the conviction that Portugal offers a lot of value, quality and diversity to the world, which is why we like to share this purpose in our vision, namely to share what is best done in Portugal.
Still with room to evolve certainly, Portuguese Wines already have a differentiating brand, very similar to the gastronomic heritage in Portugal, there is always something new to enjoy and taste.
Different aromas and flavors
Obviously we admit that we have seen a qualitative evolution in recent decades, despite the centuries-old history of wine production in Portugal and the Iberian peninsula, and thankfully, the world is certainly grateful, especially the consumer and connoisseur of good wine.
One of the most exciting aspects for those who taste and know Portuguese Wines, is actually the fascinating variety of aromas and flavors very different from what you can drink in the world.
As long as you do not have the opportunity to drink Portuguese wine, one thing is certain, you are losing a series of distinctive aromas and flavors that you can only find in Portuguese Wines, obviously in Portugal and Made in Portucale for example.
