A market to explore, Cameroon, part of the CCIPC - Portugal Cameroon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we went to know what may in the future be an interesting market.
Beautiful country, but still with basic and structural needs, but certainly in the near future can be a destination of our products.
We participated in the first business mission between Lisbon - Portugal and Cameroon, a Central African country with a very interesting geographical position.
A Portuguese named Fernando do Pó is the first European in 1472 to reach the islands of the Gulf of Guinea, such as the island of Bioko, which in colonial times was called Fernando Pó, part of Equatorial Guinea.
This navigator also reached the mouth of the Wouri River which he called the Cameroon River, which later named the present African state, namely the Republic of Cameroon.
We had already had the pleasure of participating in the holding of a Portuguese Wine and Gin Festival, why not, now also in Africa, but in Cameroon where we were exceptionally very well received, by businessmen, professionals, government representatives, namely in the Ministry of Commerce, deputies, and the illustrious Portuguese businessman and honorary Consul Fernando Monteiro.
