Winemaking: This brandy with controlled appellation of origin Lourinhã, is obtained from low-grade wines alcoholic, rich in organic acids.
Distillation: It is made within the Demarcated Region right after the alcoholic fermentation is finished, without the addition of sulfur dioxide or any other chemist. Distillation is obtained in a column of copper in 18 (Armagnac type).
Aging: Aging is done over the years in French oak and Portuguese oak casks.
Brandy from Lourinhã is the first and only demarcated region in Portugal for the production of brandy.
In fact, brandy from Lourinhã is on an equal footing with the famous French spirits, previously known worldwide by Cognac and Armagnac.
Therefore, there are 3 regions demarcated in the European space, in addition to the French, the Portuguese Brandy from Lourinhã.
