HONEY AND MEDRONHO LIQUOR ARBUN (MELOSA) 500ml

Fruit liqueur typical of the Algarve Region and Honey from Bees.

Inspired by the success of arbutus brandy and Mel das Abelhas in the Algarve region, southern Portugal, the best honey from Serra do Caldeirão in the Algarve was selected and was combined in the right proportion, with a smooth and fruity arbutus brandy (click here to find out which one was).

The final result was the Liquor that we present here, a honeycomb whose softness and sweetness of the honey blends harmoniously with the fruity aroma of the best arbutus.

In production there is a mixture, under moderate fire and in balanced amounts according to ancestral recipes, of honey (where essences characteristic of Serra do Caldeirão predominate, especially rosemary), medronho brandy (resulting from the fermentation and distillation of strawberry tree fruits harvested manually in wild stands), lemon (from the orchards of the Algarve) and cinnamon.

Tasting Note: This ARBUN HONEY Honey Liqueur (MELOSA) is presented with a beautiful pale yellow to golden color, clear appearance, a drink with a honey, strawberry flavor, sweetened with touches of cinnamon and lemon.

Harmonization: This Arbun Honey and Medronho Liqueur (MELOSA) is a handcrafted product, created from the old Algarve traditions and that can create feet. Must be kept cold and stirred before serving. Enjoy in a goblet that allows you to absorb the aroma, without ice.
