A Arte dos Sabores, a partir de Portugal... para o mundo.
Discover the best Portuguese rosé wines here at Made in Portucale, from Minho, Trás-os-Montes, Beira, Dão, Alentejo, Douro, Tejo, Bairrada, Lisbon, and more. Experience the excellence of Portuguese red wine.
Rosé wines are made from red grapes and undergo a unique fermentation method.
After a short time, the grape skins are removed, as some pink color has already been transferred to the wine.
A fermentation process similar to that of white wine then takes place, without the skins.
In Portugal, it is permitted to produce rosé wine by combining white and red wines.
Rosé wines can vary in hue from soft pink to light red.
Their taste derives from the harmony between the qualities of white wine (delicacy and softness) and red wine (fruit aromas stand out, especially red ones).
